WHAT IS DOT OSP LICENSE ?
Any Company providing ‘Applications Services’ i.e. providing services like tele-banking, tele-medicine, tele-education, tele-trading, e-commerce, call centre, network operation centre and other IT Enabled Services, by using Telecom Resources provided by Authorised Telecom Service Providers shall obtain Other Service Providers(OSP) license.
Any Company Providing application services falls under the Category of OSP.
For any of these OSPs to provide any telecom services using the telecom resources such as public telecom network, mobile network, digital network, etc., they must be registered with Department of Telecommunication (DOT).
To obtain a OSP Registration in India, it is mandatory for the entity to be a Private Limited Company, Limited Company, OPC Company and LLP. Therefore, Entrepreneurs having plans for starting a call centre or BPO or e-commerce or other IT Enabled Services must incorporate a Private Limited Company.
TWO TYPE OF DOT OSP LICENSE:
DOMESTIC OSP LICENSE:
‘Domestic OSP’ means the OSP providing Application Services in national boundaries.
INTERNATIONAL OSP LICENSE:
‘International OSP’ means the OSP providing Application Services beyond national boundaries.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
STEP 1: SUBMIT DOCUMENTS
Submit all the documents as required for preparation of application.
STEP 2: APPLICATION FILING
After Preparation of application we will file with the concerned authority along with other documents.
STEP 3: REVIEW BY AUTHORITY
The authority shall verify the accuracy and correctness of the application.
STEP 4: GRANT OF CERTIFICATE
Authority will accept the application & grant the DOT OSP License Certificate.

The OSP shall take the Telecom Resources from an Authorised Telecom Service Provider only.
The Authorised Telecom provide resources to the OSP after examining the network diagram of the network proposed to be set up by the OSP and after ensuring its bonafide use. OSPs shall submit a copy of the network diagram approved by the Telecom Service Provider to VTM Cells for records and verification.
OSP may have internet connectivity from the Authorized Internet Service Provider.
OSP is permitted to share the Telecom bandwidth with other activities of the same Company or group of companies.

WHAT IS AYUSH LICENSE ?
To manufacture Ayurvedic / Herbal products in India, we required a license from AYUSH Regulated by Ministry of AYUSH and not from FSSAI. The Ministry of AYSUSH was formed on 9th November 2014. However, you cannot just partake in the manufacturing of ayurvedic medicine without the consent of the government. This consent comes in the form of a license called the Ayush License. AYUSH Loan License:
Manufacturing license where you loan a manufacturing unit of a third party manufacturer to make your products. Thus you will not have to own a manufacturing unit. You will have to apply for a Loan license and it will be issued to your company. Then you will have to get an approval for your product from authorities. Post that you liaison with a GMP certified manufacturer to manufacture your product. Either you can provide the raw materials and packaging material or manufacturer can arrange it from his sources. Finally manufacturer gives you the ready product.
Contract Manufacturing / Third party manufacturing / White label Manufacturing / Product to Product manufacturing:
License where you will use the manufacturing license of a third-party manufacturer to manufacture the product. You will be just marketing the product. Thus you don’t have to own any manufacturing unit and don’t have to get any license. All liaisoning with AYUSH office will be done by the manufacturer. The Product label will say that the product is manufactured by the XYZ manufacturer and marketed by your company.
